From a Garage to Zumbrota's Favorite Repair Shop

Back in 2012, Duane opened the doors to what was then a small operation out of a garage on Jefferson Ave. Word spread fast in our small town—people appreciated honest mechanics who explained problems clearly and never pushed unnecessary work.

By 2015, we had moved to our current location and expanded the team. Today, we handle over 500 engines per year, from residential lawn mowers to commercial landscaping equipment. The core philosophy hasn't changed: treat every customer like family, and every machine like it matters.

Here are the things we hear most often from folks visiting our shop.

Most tune-ups and minor repairs are completed same-day. Major engine work typically takes 3-5 business days. We'll always give you an honest timeline estimate when you bring your equipment in, and keep you updated throughout the process.

Yes! We provide free estimates for all work under $200. For more complex repairs requiring diagnosis, there's a $75 diagnostic fee—which is waived if you proceed with the repair. We'll always explain what we found and the available options before starting any work.

We work on all major brands including Honda, Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, Kawasaki, Husqvarna, John Deere, Cub Cadet, Toro, and many others. If it's a small gas engine, we can probably fix it. Bring it by and we'll take a look.

We offer free pickup and delivery within 15 miles of Zumbrota for commercial accounts and senior customers. For residential customers outside that range, we can arrange transport for a small fee. Give us a call to discuss your needs.
